Josh and Nicky’s Nelson Wedding
Josh and Nicky recently joined the “Just Married Club”, celebrating their love at their Nelson wedding with a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony at Nelson’s Summer House. The venue itself is situated in the hills above Nelson, with unobstructed views looking out over Tasman Bay. The couple tied the knot under a beautifully decorated wooden arch, which framed the expansive, 360-degree views of Tasman Bay and the beautiful rural countryside just perfectly!

Having both their Nelson wedding ceremony and reception at the Summer House, the couple were able to spend plenty of time with their guests, enjoying the outdoor games, sipping champagne, and making the most of the relaxed and fun vibes before heading away for photos.
Their Nelson wedding photography was all captured on location, the couple and their bridal party brought along a picnic basket of goodies and enjoyed some downtime and yummy food in-between wedding photos and champagne pops.
We had gotten to know Josh and Nicky quite well over the last year or so, we captured their engagement photography at Cable Bay and caught up with them regularly to hear all about their exciting wedding plans. So, when their wedding day finally came around we could not have been more stoked to be there celebrating and cheering them on! And, if the day couldn’t get any more perfect, Nelson put on a stunner of a sunset!
After some hilarious speeches, plenty of cheers, and a gorgeous dinner served by Viva La Vaca, Josh and Nicky took to the dance floor, partying the night away under the glow of the golden festoon lighting, and showing off their very impressive dance moves with some great tunes by local DJ Audio Entertainment.
