Mitch and April’s Nelson Engagement

April and Mitchell reached out to us to capture their adventure session in Nelson after discovering that they didn’t have a lot of photos of themselves together, we hear this so often and were ecstatic that they wanted to take on an adventure with us which also gave us an excuse to go on a road trip!!

We love a kiwi road trip, no solid plan just pack up a picnic, load up on bug repellent, and hit the road! We packed the car up early that morning and hit the road making our way down to St Arnaud/Lake Rotoiti, one of the most beautiful lakeside destinations in our opinion and only a few hours out of Nelson! We had a lot of fun stopping along the way to explore the nearby forests and lakeside walks. Just making it to the lakes before sunrise was the best decision and definitely worth waking up early for.
