This beautiful venue provided a breathtaking backdrop for Jack and Tayla's wedding ceremony which was held under the trees in the courtyard of Forsters Moutere Hills and overlooked nearby vineyards and the sun kissed rolling hills which created an idyllic ambiance for their intimate ceremony which was shared with their nearest and dearest.

Samuel and Samantha choose to celebrate their wedding in a destination very special to them both. After sharing many great holidays together over the years in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand they couldn’t think of a better destination to celebrate their wedding than Queenstown’s Heritage Hotel. They invited their closest friends and family to join them in celebrating their destination wedding in Queenstown and wowed their guests with what has to be one of the most stunning wedding venues in Queenstown to get married at, a rooftop wedding ceremony on the roof of Queenstowns Heritage Hotel, overlooking Lake Wakatipu. You really cant beat the view! They choose to get married in autumn to make the most of the golden and bronze tones which really added to their wedding photos.

Sam and Tyler’s Nelson Wedding

Sam and Tyler celebrated their gorgeous Nelson wedding at Appleby House surrounded by their favourite people! Their beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony was held in the grounds of Appleby House where the couple exchanged vows under the open sky, surrounded by rural countryside and rolling hills in the far distance, a close family member of Sam’s was their celebrant which made their ceremony even more personal and made for a truly heartfelt and intimate affair. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their energetic bridal party headed to nearby Rabbit Island to have wedding photos captured. The idyllic location, with its picturesque views, served as a perfect backdrop for some fun photos with their bridal party. As golden hour approached Sam and Tyler's guests made their way to the modern barn at Appleby House, which had been transformed into a dreamy setting that perfectly blended modern aesthetics with a touch of rustic charm while the couple snuck away for a moment alone and were treated to a stunning sunset.

Josh and Nicky recently joined the “Just Married Club”, celebrating their love at their Nelson wedding with a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony at Nelson’s Summer House. The venue itself is situated in the hills above Nelson, with unobstructed views looking out over Tasman Bay. The couple tied the knot under a beautifully decorated wooden arch, which framed the expansive, 360-degree views of Tasman Bay and the beautiful rural countryside just perfectly!

Char and Cam’s relationship started off on the open road where they bonded over a mutual love of cycling, adventure, and the great outdoors. With a love for adventure, their family and friends of course had many stories to share throughout their Nelson wedding day of the couple’s countless adventures together, from mountain biking their way up the side of a mountain with their sassy bearded collie cross Billie along for the ride to their many hiking and camping excursions. The couple even spent days leading up to their Nelson wedding at Lake Rotoiti Lodge biking and hiking around Lake Rotoiti and the St Arnaud area.

Sam and Fiona (aka Fee) tied the knot underneath a beautiful wooden arch decorated in sprawling blooms at their Christchurch wedding ceremony held on the grounds of Okoka Park in rural Canterbury surrounded by all their favorite people! Their ceremony location was framed by large hedges creating a grassed courtyard-like space that felt intimate and classy. This venue is truly special to Sam and Fee and was an absolute no-brainer when they planned their Christchurch wedding as this is also Sam’s family home.

Harry and Daisy's Blenheim Wedding

Daisy and Harry got married by the ocean at Rarangi Beach in Blenheim amongst the wildflowers which grow before you reach the Rarangi shoreline. Their Blenheim wedding ceremony, with its driftwood arch, dried florals, and gently draped fabric framed a beautiful view looking out over the body of ocean in which they first found themselves crossing paths when they worked together on the Interislander Ferry many moons ago. To have their wedding ceremony by the shores of Rarangi Beach was also special to them as this is also the backyard of Harry’s family’s bach, what a spot right!?

Let’s start this beautiful wedding blog off by titling the gallery “The Adventures of Lucy and Matt” because over the last few years Lucy and Matt have lived an adventure fuelled life spending most weekends out adventuring in the great outdoors, climbing, tramping, and just living it up. So, after Matt popped the question while tramping up a Mountain with Lucy somewhere in Canterbury they have been busy not only adventuring but planning their dream Christchurch wedding at Bangor Farm! To add to the fun, with any spare time they have Lucy and Matt have also been restoring an old ex-Christchurch Metro Bus (which they fondly named Businghampalace) into a gorgeous house-on-wheels in which they are planning on moving into and calling home after they return from their honeymoon visiting the Tekapo/Wanaka region

You be the judge, but with both Caitlin and Brookes's summer holidays being at their family baches in the same bay as one another at Double Cove in Queen Charlotte Sounds, it really was only a matter of time before Brooke set his eyes firmly on the gorgeous Caitlin. Many holidays went by and after a few failed attempts by both parties to somehow make an excuse to start a conversation with one another (and maybe after some teasing by their friends) these two finally met and we assume it went well because here we are capturing their Marlborough wedding ceremony back where it all started, in Queen Charlotte Sounds on the jetty of Caitlins parents family bach! Tom and Emma’s Ashburton wedding

Emma and Tom got married at Trott’s Gardens for their Ashburton Wedding. But before getting wed we want to share Emma and Tom's story of how they first met, it is a real-life rom-com and one we are so desperate to share, so here goes! It was the Spring of 2016 in London, a Wednesday to be exact, and the first day of Tom’s big OE when he met Emma. After flying into London that morning and dropping off his luggage at his older brother’s place, Tom was off to a local pub to catch up with his old mate Jack and a few of Jack’s friends where he was introduced to the lovely Emma. Not only was it Toms's first day in London but little did he know the person he just met would be his future wife, how cute is that!! Emma and Tom obviously hit it off, as they booked a holiday to Greece together for the following June and I’m gonna say it, the rest is history!

Self-declared nerds, their words not ours! Sophie and Rylea met at what they describe as “Nerd Camp” and from the sounds of it they hit it off straight away. These two were a hell of a good time, so much fun and so bubbly, and really had a focus on having the best day together celebrating their love with their favourite people at their destination Lake Rotoiti wedding. It really didn’t surprise us that their bridal party were such a laugh, we have honestly never had this much fun with a bridal party before, they really kept us on our toes and made for a great time, we will let the photos do the talking ;)

Fliss and Chris are what we would describe as the ultimate power couple, they are keen adventurers who have a shared love for the great outdoors, a passion for adventure, and tramping. It was only fitting then that they planned their dream destination wedding for St Arnaud a few hours south west of Nelson, New Zealand. Nelson Styled Wedding Shoot

This shoot was captured on a rainy day in rural Nelson. We had Alex from Flora and Forest style this amazing half-circle arch provided by GK Events Hire in the most gorgeous blooms, she even created this dreamy bouquet and buttonhole with soft pink and white toned florals which looks so classic and elegant with the muted and earthy tones. We kept this shoot really simple, with no bling, just basic styling, and warm tones.
